The magical walk from Big Pats Creek to Starlings Gap is about 9kms and includes some short steep hills. It offers a challenging walk for keen bushwalkers. The walk follows the timber tramways constructed in the early 1900’s to service sawmills that extended as far as Starlings Gap. If you look carefully you may see the remnants of elevated tramways constructed with logs. Two sawdust heaps are also visible.
