Held annually at the end of November, The Vertical K race up Mt Donna Buang provides the ultimate test of strength over a vertical kilometre for trail runners and cyclists.  Both cyclists and runners embark together on their epic battle, cyclists climb 1,077m in 17.8km while runners climb 1,098m in 8km through magnificent Mountain Ash forest and tree ferns.

It’s a mega tough race, not for the weak of heart, body or mind, from the centre of picturesque Warburton in the Yarra Valley, to the lofty mountain summit of ‘Big Donna’.
